He is the CEO of Decada Group, a long-term holding company that acquires and permanently stewards businesses in Utah. Alongside his longtime friend and co-founder Adam Malmborg, Chase takes a long view to ownership, favoring craftsmanship, strong fundamentals, and continuity over speed or financial engineering. Decada stewards a small portfolio of businesses across multiple industries, each rooted in Utah and operated with a long-term lens.

Through his personal investment and advisory firm, Patina Capital, Chase provides minority capital, board service, and CEO counsel to founders and operators building meaningful companies. The work is selective by design, grounded in stewardship rather than short-term outcomes.

Chase is also active in civic work, supporting small business advocacy and policy efforts in Washington, D.C. and Utah, focused on representing the interests of small business owners. He serves on nonprofit boards focused on strengthening communities, expanding access to entrepreneurship, and improving urban mobility in Salt Lake City.
